PRESS

Viña Reboreda Godello (2017) - "This straw-colored Godello opens with a lemon-lime bouquet with a hint of kiwi. On the palate, this wine is medium + bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty ginger-lime blend with hints of minerality, walnut and quince. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. If you have never had Godello before, this offering a very good introduction. A second glass is a must and I would pair this Godello with a seafood casserole. Enjoy."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2017) - "Pale, brilliant yellow-gold. Lively citrus and orchard fruit aromas are complemented by suggestions of honeysuckle and dusty minerals. Spicy and focused on the palate, offering incisive Meyer lemon and quince flavors and a deeper touch of honey that emerges on the back half. Finishes with very good focus and stony persistence, leaving behind a bitter lemon pith flourish."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2017) - "Fleshy and ripe, this white remains fresh due to citrusy acidity. Pear, quince and garrigue flavors mingle in the plush texture, giving way to a lemon curd finish."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2016) - "This almost clear colored Godello is very good. It opens with a mild banana bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe Anjou pear and walnut blend with notes of gentle minerality and hints of lime. The finish is dry and its acidity and flavors linger for a bit. This good value Godello would pair well with the Chilean sea bass. Enjoy."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2016) - "This fleshy white delivers ripe pear, blanched almond and coconut flavors. Firm acidity and a briny note keep this balanced, giving way to mineral and leesy accents on the finish. Drink now through 2021."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2015) - "Amid all the aromas of ripe white fruit, you might find touches of citrus and minerals, plus some details of flowers. This is round and wide, but with a column of firm acidity that keeps it balanced. Try it with octopus a la gallega."

Viña Reboreda Godello (2015) - "This straw-colored wine opens with an attractive mild floral bouquet with hints of lychee and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle green apple with notes of nicely integrated gentle minerality. I also detected a hint of faint grapefruit and pineapple in the background. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This quaffer will be real popular on a hot summer day. Enjoy – Ken"

FINCA REBOREDA WINERY INFO

Overview: The Viña Reboreda vineyard estate comprises 40 hectares on the Miño River west of the provincial capital and ancient Roman mining center of Orense. Soils vary from alluvial and stony near the river to outcroppings of slate, granite and chalk on the higher west-facing slopes. Varieties planted include a majority Treixadura, plus Torrontés, Loureiro, Godello and Mencía.

Treixadura provides savory consistency while Torrontés adds floral and spice notes.

Refreshing and fragrant in style, Viña Reboreda remains relatively soft in acidity compared with other Galician wines, allowing for a more completely dry finish. It offers an uncomparable value in top-quality Spanish white wine.
